Public reporting is in its infancy and there is little research – unfortunately – to tell us what features work best. We invite three of the Nation’s leading public report experts to share their top recommendations to public report sponsors everywhere. How would they complete this sentence: If you only do one thing, please be sure to ____. Dr. R. Adams Dudley, University of California - San Francisco, will discuss the importance of understanding who is visiting and using your public report. Dr. Judith Hibbard, University of Oregon, will share her framework for organizing measures used in your report that at the same time educate consumers about elements of quality of care. Lastly, Dale Shaller, Shaller Consulting Group, will discuss the importance of empowering and engaging consumers to use the measures in selecting providers. The Webinar will close with a high-level overview by Dr. Dudley of a new AHRQ tool for CVEs – Model Public Report Elements: A Sampler.
